Après avoir signé à West Ham, Saïd Benrahma a déclaré avoir réalisé un rêve d’enfance en intégrant la Premier League. Un «exploit» venant triompher une carrière parsemé pourtant d’embûches.
« Je suis très très heureux de faire partie de cette équipe. West Ham est un grand club en Angleterre qui évolue en Premier League depuis très longtemps. Il a toujours eu de bons joueurs », a déclaré Benrahma. Malgré un temps de jeu très limité, l’international algérien a quand même enregistré 2 offrandes depuis le début du championnat anglais (cinquième au classement des passeurs en Premier League).
En dépit des performances ternes de l’ailier espagnol Pablo Fornals, le coach des Hammers, David Moyes, préfère toujours un Benrahma remplaçant, selon l’entraineur anglais, l’ancien joueur de l’OGC Nice n’est pas encore prêt pour la Premier League. Les fans de West Ham ont montré leur mécontentement sur ce sujet, exigeant d’ailleurs une titularisation de l’algérien lors de la prochaine rencontre face à Manchester United, dans le cadre de la 11e journée de championnat, samedi 5 décembre.
La nouvelle aventure de Benrahma à West Ham devra le transcender pour s’imposer enfin en sélection algérienne où il ne compte que sept sélections. Pourtant, la première convocation du joueur remonte au 30 septembre 2015, quand il a fait partie de la liste des 26 joueurs sélectionnés par l’ancien coach national, Christian Gourcuff, dans le cadre des matchs amicaux face à la Guinée et le Sénégal, les 9 et 13 octobre de la même année.
Respect your opinion. However Benrahma is a flare player a playmaker a match winner and in my opinion offers the team better options going forward. Your right he hasn't played much which is down to Moyes who wanted to sign King who would of defiantly played more games.

For me it has nothing to do with hating any of our players It's about opinions. I prefer Benrahma as I think he is a game changer a match winner and if fit Antonio in the system Moyes plays. Change the system when Antonio is out and Haller will also score us a shit loads of goals

Fornals is a 10 and he was bought to be a 10 for Pellegrini. It worked under the system we started this season with Antonio starting, but with Haller in the team we need an actual winger like Benrahma.

If Fornals was playing well/contributing or whatever I'd be like ok fine I understand that
But he's not creating any chances and then wastes the ones that go his way – adds pretty much no creativity to the team. His buildup play is good but we can get that + more from Benrahma.
